South Pointe's Internal Medicine program has an established morning report curriculum with strong attending physician participation as well as daily noon lectures, critical care rounds, M&M conferences, board review, Challenger and weekly journal clubs.

We also participate regularly in a state-of-the-art skills lab with monthly sessions dedicated to procedures specific to internal medicine. Through our use of SimMan, we are able to train our residents on ACLS protocols beyond taking the class.  

Futhermore, our affiliation with the Cleveland Clinic allows our residents opportunities for exposure to main campus elective rotations. We also have access to the Cleveland Clinic IM Board review, as well as, IM Grand Rounds and Citywide educational events.
