The General Surgery residency program offers a two-week virtual audition rotation that allows students to participate in virtual didactics on Wednesday and Thursday mornings (starting at 7:00 am).  There is no direct patient contact or observation, but students will join topic reviews, staff lectures, M&M conferences, and Tumor Board conferences and interact with the residents and faculty during didactics.

Students should consult with their medical school administration as to whether or not this virtual rotation will count toward credit for graduation.
